We can supply large (jumbo) vehicle awnings for larger vans and lorries commonly used at race meetings. What is used during the week for work can be quickly transformed to a compact race support vehicle or simple fit to your dedicated team vehicle. When extra covered working space and shelter is required by the support team, our solutions can provide just that.
The large wind-out folding arm system, which can be produced in one piece lengths up to 7.0m long or linked together to produce dual module awnings up to 10 metres in length. With projections of 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 metres available. The cassette can be mounted off the side of the vehicle or recessed into the vehicle body. The combination of the standard Jumbo folding arm system, reinforced with steel and aluminium components have created an awning of incredible strength with quick assembly.
The fully enclosed Race awning comes with heavy duty legs, a base frame kit for hard standing and a vehicle skirt as standard kit. For awning lengths ranging from 6 to 7 metres we fit a centre leg as standard.
The corner posts, centre leg (if req.) side roof rails and torsion bars are constructed of the same box aluminium extrusion, with a steel foot assembly that has a range of height settings for use on uneven ground. This foot assembly is also used to locate the base frame poles with a quick releasing pin.
The flame retardant PVC sheeting is available in a choice of colours, finished with a window and night curtain on the front sheet and with centre zips on both end sheets. The sheeting also has adjustable peg rubbers for use on soft standing. This sheeting design is the most commonly sold motorsport awning but if you want something bespoke, please speak to our team and we will help you design the best configuration for your team needs.
