Quentor manufacture the Rolls Royce standard of motorsport pitlane or pitwall stands for all racing disciplines – also called a pit perch. Made in the UK and manufactured by a class leading team of experts with years of experience of producing lightweight motorsport flight cases, Quentor branched out further into pitlane fabrication products such as stands, temporary wall panel systems and towable pit carts. Now the brand offers a full array of pitlane products and has fast become world renowned for their quality and patented technology, supplying to most of F1, Formula E and other elite motorsport disciplines.
Interex Motorsport was pleased to be approached by a motorsport team from Asia who compete in the Super GT Racing series and required additional facilities as their team expands its involvement in the sport.
The new Quentor stand solution built entails a large transportation flight case that’s strong enough to become the main base unit of the stand itself, taking onboard the weight of up to 3 operatives with seating included. The internally housed side wall panels are then removed from the case and easily assembled into position. Once constructed the pit stand remains extremely sturdy during all weather conditions with rain skirting provided. This second stand has double monitor rows allowing for up to 6 screens, a worktop for recessed keyboards and internal cable management facilities.
All Quentor pitlane perches are designed specifically for motorsport in mind; to be extremely robust and for fast erecting and dismantling whilst users travel through their race calendar locations. Made from a 15mm aluminium honeycomb design, the stand has tremendous strength yet remains lighter than alternative solutions on the market.
Full build specification was discussed between the Interex Motorsport team and passed on to the design engineers at Quentor. Through careful planning and communication, the build was completed on time before being carefully prepared and packaged for international export to the end user who was delighted with the end product.
